IcoFX 1.6.1 Released

Postby IcoFX on Sun May 11, 2008 4:45 pm

I have just released a new version of IcoFX (1.6.1).
This is a minor release. It fixes the bugs that were reported until 11.05.2008.

:D :D Just wanted to say that, after searching the Web for other Icon Managers, IcoFix is the best ive seen so far. I needed to convert several PNG's to BMP and ICO to BMP to use in some applications i've created and IcoFix did it quickly and with great output quality. Haven't yet explored all the features but im looking forward to it.

There's something, however, id like to ask. Is it possible to convert directely from PNG to BMP using IcoFix? Ive done it converting first from PNG to ICO and then from ICO to BMP.

Keep the execelent work.

Best regards.

I'm glad that you like IcoFX.
You cannot convert png directly to bmp. Since IcoFX was designed as an icon editor this feature is not implemented.

Hi Luis,
You can use IrfanView to do this.
