Toolbar

Here we have shortcuts to the most important functions and options of IcoFX.

You can access the following commands from the toolbar:

• New icon
• Open icon
• Save icon
• Cut selection
• Copy selection
• Paste selection
• Undo modification
• Redo modification
• Create Windows Icon From Image
• Create Macintosh Icon From Image
• Use filter on alpha channel
• Smooth Edges
• Transparency of the selection
• Automatically Zoom The Image

 Use filter on alpha channel

If this option is set, then all filters will be applied on the alpha channel (transparency) too. If not the transparency of the image will not be changed.

 Smooth Edges

If this option is set then the edge of the brush is softened when drawing. This also applies to the text tool.

 Transparency of the selection

When this option is selected the selection will be transparent, the underlying image will show trough.

 Automatically Zoom The Image

If this option is set then the image is automatically zoomed to best fit on the window.
